Redeeming a discount voucher for service extension
If you have a valid service extension discount voucher, use the following steps to redeem it:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select the type of service you want to redeem the coupon for.
- Select a specific service.
- Select Extension from the left menu.
- Check the renewal discount coupon and enter the coupon code in the box.
- Click on the Apply Coupon button.
- Confirm your order by clicking the Order Extension button.

Service extensions are valid from the current expiry date regardless of the date of the extension order or payment (while the service is active).
Common problems
Common problems with claiming renewal discounts include:
There is no discount coupon box
Problem: The service extension does not contain any coupon entry field.
Cause: Some services, such as domains, do not support the coupon renewal discount.
Solution: Use the coupon to extend the service for which it is intended.
Invalid coupon code
Problem: You get an error message saying the coupon cannot be used to extend the service, or similar.
Cause: the coupon code is not intended to extend the service (it only works when set up), has expired due to a time limit or usage limit, or does not exist at all.
Solution: Make sure you are entering the voucher in the correct way and that you meet its conditions. If you believe that your coupon should be valid, contact customer support.

Why do you give such high discounts to new customers and almost nothing to existing ones?
We have calculated that some new customers will not use the service at all or only partially. It costs us about half as much to run the new services as it does to run the longer ones. So we can offer them a 50% discount, but if we gave the same discount to existing customers using the service fully, it would no longer be worth running.
Why can't I get a discount on domain renewals?
We sell domains practically at the purchase price of the registry. Any discount we offer on domains is conditional on the fact that the registry also provides this discount during the period.
