Automatic event planning
Automatic actions allow you to run various actions on a selected virtual machine at a predefined time. The most common actions include:
- suspend (similar to Windows sleep mode)
- resume - start or resume from suspension
- reboot - restart
- reboot-hard - reboot (shuts down the VPS "hard")
- poweroff - shutdown
- poweroff-hard - "hard" shutdown
Setting automatic action
Enter the following steps to set up automatic actions:
- Log in to the ON SunStone interface ⧉.
- In the left menu, select Instance Virt. machines.
- From the list, select the VM for which you want to set the action.
- In the top menu, select the Actions tab.

Adding a new action
To add a new action, click the green Add Action button in the right-hand side of the action overview header.
- New planned action: select the type of action and the time to start it.
- Relative Time: Instead of a specific time, you can select how long after saving Cloud will trigger the action.
- Periodically: opens the menu for setting the periodic triggering of the action.
When you have finished setting up, click Add.

Editing and deleting an action
You can edit or delete existing actions by clicking on the corresponding icon in the action overview - to delete and to edit.

Can I set actions for the whole Cloud?
Unfortunately, we do not yet offer event planning for the entire Cloud.
