In the default search, you browse the current folder and search only the subject line and the sender's name or address.

You can also set:

  • Search locations. You can also search among the names or addresses of the addressee, the recipient of the copy or a hidden copy. You can also search the body of the message or the entire message, but if you have a large number of emails in your inbox, this can slow down your search considerably.
  • Date. You can limit your search by date to messages newer than a week, newer than a month, newer than a year, older than a week, older than a month, or older than a year.
  • Scope. You can search the current folder, the current folder with subfolders (for example, inboxes), or all folders including trash and spam. If you have a large number of emails in your inbox, searching through all folders can slow down your search considerably.
