- In the application details, click the grey Uninstall button.
- Confirm the uninstallation with the green Yes, uninstall button.

Uninstall via FTP
Perform this part of the uninstallation after uninstalling the application in the customer administration:
- Connect to the hosting via an FTP client (for example webFTP ⧉).
- In the www/domains folder, delete the application folder (the corresponding domain).
For instructions on how to work with files via FTP, see Webhosting - File Management.
Common problems
Common problems with uninstalling an application include:
Cannot delete files
Problem: When trying to delete a folder of an old site from FTP, an error message appears or undeleted files and folders remain on the server.
Cause: It could be a file permissions problem or a bug in the FTP itself.
Solution: First, fix the file permissions according to this guide and wait 10 minutes. Then try the deletion again.
If you are still unable to delete the files or cannot log in to your account at all, please create a temporary FTP account for support and contact us. Please provide the name of the web host, the name of the FTP account (e.g. domain.tld) you are logging in with (e.g. w123456_manager), the name of the folder you are trying to delete, and the text of the error message.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I install another app after uninstalling one?
Make sure you delete the entire folder with the previous installation on the FTP site. If you encounter any other problems with installing the new application, follow the instructions in Webhosting - Application Installer.
We accidentally uninstalled the app, how can we restore it?
Uninstallation in the administration deletes the database, you delete the FTP files manually. If you have a backup of the application you can restore it, alternatively you can request a backup of ours. In either case, follow this guide on backing up your site.
