WebMail - Mail sorting

The screenshots are taken in the new Elastic template. If you are using the older Larry template, follow the text instructions or change the template at least temporarily according to the manual.

In this article you will learn:

Sorting mail using folders

By default, WebMail includes separate folders for incoming mail, parsed messages, sent messages, spam and trash. Within each of these folders and separately, you can create a new folder and move messages to it manually or automatically using the inbox filter.

Create a new folder

Use the following procedure to create a new folder or subfolder:

  1. Log in to the WebMail client .
  2. Access Settings.
  3. Select Folders from the left menu.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Fill in the settings and confirm with the Save button.

You can set the folder to:

  • Name of the folder.
  • Parent component. Select - - - to create a folder outside the other folders.
  • List view mode. You can select either List, which displays each message individually, or Conversation, which organizes messages and their replies into groups.

Emptying the folder

You can empty the folder, i.e. move all its emails to the Trash. The move also applies to subfolders of the Trash. The only exception is the Recycle Bin itself, where emptying it deletes the emails completely.

  1. Log in to the WebMail client .
  2. Access Settings.
  3. Select Folders from the left menu.
  4. Select the folder you want to empty from the list.
  5. Click Empty.
Empty the folder into the Trash (in case of the Trash, delete the contents completely)

Deleting a folder

Deleting a folder completely removes all emails contained in that folder.

Follow the same procedure as for emptying the folder, but instead of Empty, select Delete in the last step.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I want to delete the folder, but not lose the emails?

First, move all emails to another folder. At the bottom of the client, click Select, select All, and then drag and drop the messages into another folder of your choice. You can then safely delete the original folder.
