Administration - Login problems

This article deals with troubleshooting problems with logging into the customer administration ⧉. For instructions on how to change your email password, see the Emails - Change Password tutorial.

The problem with logging into the administration of a particular site (for example, WordPress) should be solved according to the manual of the corresponding editorial system or with the site administrator. From our side we cannot provide you with access.

Forgotten customer administration password

The password to the customer administration is reset via an e-mail sent to the address corresponding to the login name. If you do not know this email, please continue with the chapter Forgotten login email (login). If you do not have access to this email, please continue with the chapter Inaccessible login email or phone.

Request a password change using this procedure:

  1. Open the WEDOS login interface ⧉.
  2. Under the login form, click on the Forgot Password Recovery link.
  3. On the next page, fill in your login email and reCaptcha authentication.
  4. Click the Submit button.

This will send an email with a link to reset your password to the customer administration.

The link in the email is valid for 30 minutes after the request is sent. If the link does not work, open it on the same device from which you requested the password change.

Then follow these steps:

  1. Open the email on the same device from which you requested the password reset.
  2. Click on the administration link in the email.
  3. After opening the link sent to you, fill in the new password twice.
  4. Confirm the new password. 

You can now log in with your new password.


Forgotten login email (login)

If you do not know the login email for your customer account, please contact customer support via the form ⧉ for help. Please provide the name or number of at least one service that is in the account, following the template:

Unavailable login email or phone

If you do not have access to the email you use as your customer administration login, please select one of the following procedures:

  • Try to recreate the deleted mailbox.
  • Renew the mailbox on the recently expired hosting by paying for the service, or try asking the hosting provider's support to temporarily enable it.
  • Forward mail from the domain to another functional mailbox.
  • Ask for help from customer support using the following template:

If you are unable to verify your phone number, click on the change phone number link and follow the instructions in the customer administration.

Common problems

Common problems with restoring access to administration include:

Verification email/SMS not coming

Problem: The email with the link or verification SMS is not coming through.

Cause: the problem is usually caused by a browser error during sending, or a spam filter of the email provider or mobile device/operator.

Solution: Check the SPAM folder of the email. If it's not there either, try requesting it from another browser.

In case of a problem with SMS, please check that your phone number is correct and that your phone is not blocking messages from 736 370 454 (SMS gateway). Wait at least one minute and try to send the verification SMS again. If it does not come this time, please contact us. Please be as specific as possible about the circumstances of the SMS (time of request, phone number).

Unavailable email or phone

Problem: Your email or phone number is not available.

Solution: Follow the instructions in Administration - Unavailable email or phone.

Login does not go through

Problem: After a successful login, the login form is displayed again without any error message.

Cause: It could be a browser error or cookies.

Solution: Use a different browser or follow your browser's instructions to remove cookies for login.wedos.com.

Change browser (User-Agent)

Problem: When trying to log in, I get the error: login has been invalidated due to a browser change (User-Agent).

Cause: monitoring the User-Agent parameter is a security mechanism that ensures that no stranger logs into the customer administration with you. The fact that we record its violation does not necessarily mean that someone is trying to attack you, but we cannot rule it out. That's why we prefer to block access.

User-Agent changes are triggered by elements that we cannot control, typically the browser or its extensions, even security features.

Solution: Try logging in from a different browser, set anonymous mode to &boxboxbox;, disable the extension. Turn off VPN, check antivirus software settings and other security features. As a last resort, try another device from a different network.

What if I don't have an email or phone number available on my account, how do you verify me?

Authorization to the customer account will be individually resolved with you by an employee of the authorization department.

If I give you a phone number, will you call me?

No, we never contact customers by phone. The phone is only used as a backup solution in case of unavailable email, we use it exclusively to send SMS codes.
