CD - User accounts


The CD service will be discontinued. It is not possible to set up the service, the existing customer services will continue to operate until the complete termination, the date of which will be notified to you in due course by e-mail.

CD user account

The CD service uses a unique WEDOS ID account to log in. This account may or may not use the same email as the customer account (for logging into administration). Each WEDOS ID account can currently only log in to one CD service.

You can assign one WEDOS ID account to at most one CD service.


Create a new user

Creating a new CD user consists of two steps - activate the user after it is created.

Create a new user account by following these steps:

  1. Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
  2. Click on the CD tab in the top menu.
  3. Select the WEDOS CD for which you want to create a user.
  4. In the left menu, select the NextCloud Users (X) link.
  5. In the list of users, click the New User link.
  6. Fill in User's Email.
  7. Confirm with the Create button.

Activating a new WEDOS ID user

The last step of creating a new user is to have an email sent to the address you provided with your login details and a link to activate your account. 

Now activate your account by following these steps:

  1. Copy the password from the WEDOS ID - Setting up an account for the CD application email.
  2. Click on the link to activate the app.
  3. On the Application Activation page, complete the required account information, control questions and password.
  4. Confirm activation with the Activate button.

Manage your CD account

You can only change the password of the WEDOS CD account after activation. You can also deactivate it (prevent the user from logging in) or delete it.

You can also change your password within the WEDOS ID ⧉ service.

Follow these steps to set up your WEDOS CD account:

  1. Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
  2. Click on the CD tab in the main menu.
  3. Select the WEDOS CD for which you want to temporarily suspend the user.
  4. In the left menu, select the NextCloud Users () link.
  5. On the left side of the list of users, click the pencil icon.
  6. In the Actions box, select Disable, Change Password, or Delete.

Blocking the account will prevent the user from logging in. The account will remain paired with the CD service. To remove it completely, delete it.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can one WEDOS ID account be used for multiple CD services?

Currently, this is not possible. If you need to grant one user access to multiple WEDOS CD services, create a new account for each, for example using the e-mail aliases you can add to mailboxes in the settings.

How do I change my account password if I don't have access to the customer administration?

Use the WEDOS ID ⧉ password recovery form.
