If you do not see the box Quick HTTPS Setup with Let’s Encrypt Certificate , in the box HTTPS Variant Selection select and confirm the setting HTTPS Disabled.

Wait up to 90 minutes.

  • Issuing the certificate usually takes up to 30 minutes.
  • Applying the active certificate settings can take up to another 30 minutes.
  • The last 30 minutes are a reserve in case one of the previous processes takes unusually long.

If HTTPS still does not work after 90 minutes, or if you notice errors, contact Support ⧉. Please include the name of the service and the text of the error message.

Done! 🎉

After HTTPS has been successfully activated, we recommend setting it up on the website as well.

HTTPS on WordPress

We recommend performing the procedure below only after HTTPS has been successfully enabled on Webhosting.

For information on setting up HTTPS for other solutions, see the article Webhosting – HTTPS on the Website.

Log in to your WordPress administration.

If you do not know the address of the WordPress administration, enter the following text after the name of your domain (for example kb.vedos.cz) the text /wp-login.php.

In the left menu, select Settings.

Na záložce Obecné se ujistěte, že obě adresy – WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) begin with https://.

Save your changes by clicking the button Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

Done! 🎉

Your website should now switch to the HTTPS version even when you enter an address starting with http://. If this does not happen, consider deploying an HTTPS/SSL plugin.
