Setting up an automatic reply
To create a new autoresponder, first create a new filter by following these steps:

In the Filter Definition form, fill in:
- Filter name: Choose any name by which you can easily identify the filter.
- Incoming message rules: Check All messages.
- Select Reply with message from the menu and fill in the Message and Subject fields to indicate to the recipient that this is an automatic reply.
Complete the setup by clicking Save.

Auto-response options
You can extend the basic auto-response with additional options, for example:
- Limiting the number of automatic replies by sending them only after a certain amount of time has elapsed.
- By limiting the date from when until when WebMail sends the automatic response.
- By deleting the message.
Limit the number of automatic replies
By setting a positive number in the Delay between autoresponders field in the Actions section, you can select a custom delay for sending autoresponders. The minimum is 1 day. If you leave the field blank or set the value to 0, the system sets the default interval to 7 days.
Date restriction (from - to)
If you don't want to manually turn the filter on and off for a specific period, you can set the Current date as a condition. Extend the basic settings with the following steps:
- In the Rules section, select Match all rules.
- Select the Date rule, select its format, and select the condition value greater than or equal to. In the last field, enter the date from which you want to send the automatic message, in the format you selected.
- Use the + button to add another rule.
- Select the Date rule, its format, and the condition value is less than or equal to. In the last field, enter the date you want to send the automatic message, in the format you selected.

Deleting a message
Deleting messages via the filter does not use the Recycle Bin. Therefore, messages deleted in this way cannot be recovered.
If you want to delete messages received in your mailbox in your absence, extend the basic settings with the following steps:
- In the Actions section, add another rule with the + button.
- Select Delete message.

Turning auto-answer off and on
If you want to temporarily stop sending the auto-reply or reactivate it, follow these steps:
- Log in to the WebMail client ⧉.
- Click Settings.
- Select Filters from the menu.
- Select a filter - automatic reply.
- For Filter active, toggle the button.
- Click Save.
You can tell when an auto-response is turned off by the fading of its name.

Common problems
Common problems with the auto-responder settings include:
Auto-response does not work
Problem: Autoresponders go to spam or are not delivered at all.
Cause: Autoresponders, by their very nature, usually have a pretty high spam score.
Solution: First, check the deliverability of automatic replies by setting the All Messages rule. If the auto-reply is not delivered, address the email deliverability issue. If it delivers, but the detailed filter still doesn't work, check and adjust the conditions if necessary.
You can improve deliverability by using SPF and DMARC domain records. If you are testing the filter from a single address and have set a non-zero value for the number of days between auto-responses, expect to get one auto-response per address per 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I cancel the auto-reply?
