WMS Email Quota
The WMS service includes 5 GB of email space as standard. As an add-on service you can increase this space up to 0.5 TB. You distribute this quota among individual Webhosting services in whole GB. Unfortunately, the service does not support smaller allocations.
The email space is in addition to the purchased disk space for the website/database.
Activating email on a WMS web hosting
If you are creating a new web hosting, assign email space to it according to the guide WMS - Webhosting.
You can access the interface for activating and deactivating email on a WMS web hosting by following these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select Hosting services WMS.
- Select the WMS service you want to edit.
- In the Webhostings table, select the web hosting for which you want to activate email.
- In the left menu, click Email settings.
In the email settings, you can activate or deactivate email services by toggling the switch and clicking the button Edit Email Services Settings.
Quota exhausted
If the quota is exhausted, you cannot allocate any more space. To get more space:
- increase the WMS email capacity,
- reduce the email quota of an unused web hosting, or
- delete an unused web hosting with email completely.
Adjusting the email capacity of a WMS web hosting
To adjust the email capacity of a WMS web hosting, first open the email settings interface as described in the chapter Activating and deactivating email on a WMS web hosting.
If email is activated, use the slider to set the amount of space you want to allocate to it. Save the settings with the button Edit Email Services Settings.
You can reduce the allocated space only if the total volume of emails is lower than the newly set mailbox capacity. You can check the volume of emails, for example, by following the guide Email – Checking Mailbox Usage.
Adjusting WMS email capacity
To adjust the email capacity of the WMS service, follow the guide Email – Increasing Mailbox Space, but instead of the services listed there, select the hosting service WMS.
Note: if the extension space is used by a WMS web hosting, you cannot reduce the number of activations of the add-on service or deactivate it. Follow the chapter Quota exhausted.
