WMS e-mail quota
The WMS service includes 5 GB of space for emails. As an additional service you can increase this space up to 0.5 TB. You divide this quota among the individual web hosts by whole GB. Unfortunately, the service does not support smaller allocations.
The space for your emails is in addition to the purchased disk space for the web/database.
Activation of WMS webhosting emails
If you are setting up a new web host, assign it an email space according to the WMS - Webhosting instructions.
You can access the interface for activating and deactivating WMS web hosting emails by following these steps:
- Log in to the customer administration ⧉.
- Select Hosting Services WMS from the top menu.
- Select the WMS service you want to edit.
- In the Web Hosts table, select the web host to which you want to activate emails.
- In the left menu, click Email Settings.
In the e-mail settings, you can enable or disable e-mail services by toggling the switch and clicking Edit e-mail settings.
Exhaustion of quota
If the quota is exhausted, you cannot allocate any more space. To get space:
- increase the capacity of WMS emails,
- reduce the email quota of unused web hosting, or
- completely delete unused web hosting with emails.
Adjusting the capacity of WMS web hosting emails
To modify the WMS Web Hosting e-mail capacity, first enter the e-mail setup interface as described in the Activating and Deactivating WMS Web Hosting e-mails chapter.
If the emails are activated, use the slider to set the amount of space you want to allocate to them. Save the settings with the Edit email service settings button.
You can only reduce the allocated space if the total volume of emails is less than the newly set mailbox capacity. To check the volume of emails, for example, follow the instructions in Emails - Check mailbox capacity.
Adjusting the capacity of WMS emails
To adjust the WMS e-mail capacity, follow the instructions in Emails - Increase mailbox space, but select the WMS hosting service instead of the services listed here.
Note that if the extension uses WMS web hosting, you cannot reduce the number of activations of the add-on service or deactivate it. Follow the steps in the Exhausting a quota section.
