Current service status

You can find the current service status in the Status service at wedos.status.online ⧉.

This service continuously monitors our services and updates information about any operational issues every 10 minutes. If an issue occurs that is not covered by Status monitoring, we manually add updates on its progress and resolution.

What the Status service is and how it works

Online monitoring at wedos.status.online ⧉ not only monitors the active servers running all our services, but also provides current information about the availability of the domain name registries we use for registration, DNS servers, Customer Administration ⧉, WEDOS API, fiber routes and protections such as DDoS, IDS/IPS and others.

Advantages of WEDOS Status:

  • It runs outside our infrastructure, so even if you cannot reach us because connections to us are blocked, you can still find out what is happening.
  • The service is completely independent of devices or third parties. It is a simple HTML page.
  • To the service we send data automatically, semi-automatically (requiring an active step by one of our staff to add information) and manually.
  • You do not need to log in to Customer Administration for basic information.

WEDOS Status is the quickest and easiest way to check whether all WEDOS services and systems are working. Since we can also submit data manually, it includes information about scheduled maintenance of connected systems, such as registry maintenance.

Maintenance information

The most detailed service status information is available in Customer Administration. On the page Maintenance Outages, Failures and Changes ⧉ you will find a complete log of past and scheduled events. You can filter events and click them for a more detailed description.

The overview provides:

  • Name – The server reference number and a brief event description
  • Type – The event category (maintenance, failure or change)
  • Date – The event date and time
  • Duration – The estimated event duration

In addition to the Customer Administration log, you receive an email or push notification about events from the technician responsible for that event type. You can change event notification settings in customer account settings.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create my own Status solution?

Yes, in two ways:

  • You can download Status data through the API and process it in your own application: https://wedos.status.online/cs/json/status.json
  • Monitor your services using the service wedos.online ⧉.

How can I monitor Status continuously?

For a detailed overview of service status, keep the Status web page ⧉ open in the tabs of your web browser and set it up directly on the page (in the menu at the top right) automatic refresh. Then simply watch the tab icon: if it is green with a white checkmark, everything is fine and all WEDOS services and systems are operational; orange with an exclamation mark indicates a warning, such as an overloaded server. In case of a failure or fault, the tab icon turns bright red color with an exclamation mark.

How exactly do I enable automatic Status refresh?

The ↻ button refreshes the page once. For automatic refresh, open the menu next to the button and select “refresh automatically”.
