In this article, you will learn:
VEDOS Customer Administration
You can find WEDOS Customer Administration at https://client.wedos.com/ ⧉.

The main navigation controls in administration are the top and left menus:
- In the top menu select the type of service you want to manage. You can also search for a service by number or name here.
- In the left menu select the specific action you want to perform.
An intermediate step often involves selecting a specific service from a list. At the bottom of the list, you will find a menu of bulk actions available for that service type.
Below your service list is a list of services made available to you as an authorized user.

Click a service in the list to open its details, where you will find basic information, controls and access to support for that service.

Basic tasks
With few exceptions, WEDOS Customer Administration lets users manage everything that can be managed for their services. Only a handful of settings are reserved for customer and technical support. You can find guides and procedures here in the knowledge base.
Accessing administration
To access administration, create a customer account. You need one to manage both your own services and another customer’s services if they add you as an authorized user.
You can log in and register using third-party services such as Google, Facebook and others. For more information, see the article Administration – Shared Login. To secure your account, follow the guide Administration – Customer Account Security.
You do not need a customer account to become a domain owner (in the registry) or service operatorfor a service held in your administrator’s customer account.
If you already have an account but cannot log in, follow the guide Administration – Login Issues.
Checking system status
The main service status monitor is Status, available at https://wedos.status.online ⧉. You can find the link and status indicator in the top bar of Customer Administration. A green indicator means the systems are operating normally.

You can find scheduled maintenance directly in administration on the page Maintenance Outages, Failures and Changes.
Authorized requests
If you encounter a task you cannot perform yourself in Customer Administration, send an authorized request to support: from the customer account containing the service or an account that is its authorized user. For more information, see the article Administration – Request Authorization.
Service management
Some services are managed only partly in Customer Administration. These include:
- Websites on Webhosting and WMS: You also use the interface WebFTP ⧉ (Manual) to upload files and phpMyAdmin ⧉ to manage database contents. If your website uses a content management system (such as WordPress), you use that system’s administration interface, which is entirely outside WEDOS management.
- The service WebSite 1.0 uses only its own interface wedos.website ⧉.
- Email on Webhosting, Mailhosting, WebSite and WMS: You can partly manage mailboxes using the web client WebMail ⧉ (Manual).
- Services VPS ON and Cloud are managed using the interface OpenNebula SunStone ⧉.
