This article describes how to edit billing documents for unpaid payment requests and invoices. For paid orders, the system no longer accepts changes to issued documents.
For instructions on permanently changing billing details, see the guide Services – Billing Details.
In this article, you will learn:
- How to change payment request billing details on a one-off basis
- How to change billing details on an additional invoice
- How to enter your own document identifier
- Frequently asked questions
One-off change to order details
You can change the customer only for an unpaid order!
To change details on an issued payment request without affecting the payment reference (variable symbol) or permanent billing details, follow these steps:
- Log in to Customer Administration ⧉.
- In the top menu, select Billing.
- In the left menu, click Orders.
- Select the unpaid service order whose details you want to change.

- At the bottom of the order, below the table Customer find the link Edit customer and click it.

In the window that opens after you click the link, enter the new billing details, uncheck the consents and save the changes.
Editing without administration access
If you do not currently have access to Customer Administration, you can proceed as follows:
- Open the payment request email.
- Click the link to change billing details.
- Edit and save the details.
The changes apply to all documents relating only to this particular payment request. The service’s permanent billing details in the system remain unchanged.
You can make changes at any time before paying for the order. Once it has been paid, the system no longer accepts them.
Changes to additional invoices
For additional invoices (when ordering an Add-on Service), you cannot change billing details directly. The system always uses the billing details of the basic service for which you are ordering the add-on.
To issue an additional invoice with different details, first edit the main service’s billing details (e.g. Webhosting) following the guide Services – Billing Details, then contact us ⧉. We will reissue the document.
Internal order number
To add your own document identifier for accounting purposes to issued documents, follow these steps:
- Open the selected order’s details.
- In the table Order information fill in the field Internal order number.
- Click the button Save changes.
- Download the updated documents from administration.

Setting the internal order number does not affect other orders or documents issued before it was added (for example, a payment request sent by email).
Frequently asked questions
What if I cannot see the link to edit the customer?
If you cannot see the link, the order may already be paid or the system may be blocking the change for another reason. Change the billing details following the guide Services – Billing Details.
What if I cannot see the order in the list?
If the service is working, it may be held in another customer account or with another provider. Contact whoever set up or manages the service to arrange a details update or service transfer. If the service is not working even in another account, it has probably been deleted.
